eLearning CE: Activity 3 - Oh Sher Li (06)

An effective leader should have a vision, and be able to communicate that vision to his followers. He can do this by using various methods to paint a picture with words. He should have passion for his work, and this inspires his followers to have the same level of passion for their work.  He should also be a great decision maker, although he needs to consult others for their opinion before making the decision. He should also be a team builder, with the ability to create a good team, by handing out responsibility to the teammates. If the team is underperforming, it is the leader's duty to encourage and inspire them. He should also have a distinct character, as character strengths and limitations play a critical role in his leadership strengths.

A leader should display sincerity, integrity and candor. He should be fair-minded and straightforward. He should be imaginative and make timely and appropriate changes in his thinking, plans and methods, and show creativity by thinking of new and better goals, ideas and solutions to problems.
